Message from the Planning Director

It is my pleasure to welcome both new and returning students to the Planning program at the University of Alberta. We eagerly look forward to an exciting and challenging year for faculty and students alike and trust that it will be filled with new discoveries, perspectives and friendships.

The Planning Program strives to inspire and challenge our students to work with the local community and stakeholders and apply their collective knowledge and skills in creating more vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive communities. We welcome your thoughts, ideas and imaginations to be a part of this endeavor.

Most of the Human Geography and Planning faculty is located on the 3rd floor of the Tory Building. Please feel free to come and knock on any of our office doors to introduce yourself.

We look forward to having you with us and meeting you in person.
