He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Tel Aviv University, a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, and a Doctor of Juridical Science from the University of Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Kaplinsky was previously a Visiting Scholar &amp; Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto, an instructor at the Ryerson University School of Urban and Regional Planning, and a Visiting Professor at the Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke. He was also an attorney in Tel Aviv in the areas of municipal law, medical malpractice, and commercial litigation. Professor Kaplinsky is also a research affiliate of the City-Region Studies Centre.<\/p>\n<p>His teaching and research interests include land use planning and regulation, law and economics, municipal law, and property law.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6 class=\"article-title\"><\/h6>\n<h6><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-338 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.eas.ualberta.ca\/UrbanEnvOb\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2018\/01\/antonella-ceddia.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"231\" height=\"277\" \/><\/h6>\n<h6>Antonella Ceddia<\/h6>\n<h6>Lawyer, Legal Services &#8211; City of Toronto &#8211; Litigation<\/h6>\n<p>Antonella Ceddia is a litigation lawyer for the City of Toronto where she defends the City, in human rights challenges against it, including challenges to bylaws. Recently she defended a challenge to Toronto&#8217;s zoning by-laws that applied mandatory separation distances to the group home use.<\/p>\n<p>She has a Bachelor of Laws degree, a Master of Arts degree in Political Science, and a Bachelor of Arts degree. Before practising law at the City of Toronto, Antonella practiced law at McCarthy Tetrault LLP in Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>Before law, Antonella&#8217;s experience was focussed on two separate areas &#8211; politics\/policy and human rights.
