I joined Watershed Science and Modeling Laboratory in July 2017 as a post-doctoral research fellow. I obtained my PhD from Beijing Normal University in Environmental Science. My research interests span from ecosystem modelling to water resources management, with a focus on support policy making with developed scientific methodology.<\/p>\n

My recent research in WSML is to predict hydrological risks and opportunities for Alberta\u2019s wetlands. My research approaches are developing a mathematical model to explore the relationship between wetlands\u2019 condition and hydrological indicators by spatial statistical analysis methods and predicting wetlands\u2019 future combing SWAT model, GIS and statistic models.<\/p>\n

My research in using machine learning models in inflow forecasting, CO2<\/sub> management and watershed ecosystem health assessment has been published in several high impact journals with a total impact factor of 10.<\/p>\n
