As part of my PhD thesis, I started collaboration with Dr. Faramarzi of the Watershed Science and Modelling Laboratory on 2016. I have used the Alberta-wide hydrologic data of the previously funded project by Alberta Innovates (PAWF-Predicting Alberta\u2019s Water Future), to study flood frequency in Alberta\u2019s watersheds. I\u2019m interested to assess combined effects of threshold selection and parameter estimation of Generalized Pareto Distribution in Alberta.
