As part of an ALMA funded project, I am collaborating with the Watershed Science and Modelling Laboratory. Our study aims to evaluate the impact of climate change on irrigated and dry cropland use in the South Saskatchewan River Basin (SSRB) of Alberta. We are using a mathematical programming model to analyze the overall composition of crops grown within the eastern, western, and Bow river irrigation districts in the SSRB\u00a0while optimizing net returns for producers.
