I am a fourth year geology student and this past summer I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work in Calgary as a geological summer student for Tangle Creek Energy. Besides rocks, I also enjoy hiking, canoeing, swimming, and skiing. I have had a great time being a member of P.S. Warren for the past couple of years, so I’m really excited to hold an executive position this year and meet more future geologists. HalHi my name is Hal Soulodre. I am a third year Geology student, taking on the role of Social Convener. I grew up in Slave Lake, Alberta. The past two years, I spent my summers fighting forest fires. I am looking forward to getting to know the members of P.S. Warren. Last summer I got the chance to work in Calgary for ConocoPhillips looking at a bunch of sandstones; I guess you could call me a big softy. I am very enthusiastic about sports, Uno, and most of all, dogs. I look forward to playing as many sports as possible with you guys!

Hey I’m Brendan Bishop and I’m your sports rep for the year. I’m in my final year of geology and am a pretty big sports fan and played almost every sport growing up in a little town called Elk Point. I look forward to meeting all of you and hopefully being your teammate.

Hi! I’m Carmen Ricard, I’m the secretary this 2015/2016 year and I’m looking forward to the exciting year ahead! I am in my final year of Geology, focusing in petroleum geology. Last summer I was fortunate enough to work as a geology student in Calgary at Nexen ULC with an additional 8 months before that. While there, I’m happy to say that I got out to camp and hike in the mountains. Lastly, I really love travelling – in case the photo hasn’t already tipped you off. P. S. Warren is going to have a stellar year!

Hi there, my name is Denny Smyth and I am in my fourth and final year of Honours Geology.  I spent two amazing summers working for the Alberta Geologic Survey, rocking out (haha) in both Quaternary and Bedrock.  I’m always good for a geo-pun so if you want to laugh (or roll your eyes), hit me up!  I’ll be one of your grad reps in the upcoming year and hope to throw one last awesome farewell for all the graduates!
