Two groups of approximately 10 people each will gather in Yellowknife, Sunday, June 5th. On Monday June 6th one group will visit the Ekati Mine and the other will visit the Diavik Mine. On Tues June 7th we will spend the day examining Archean geology around Yellowknife before returning to Edmonton on the evening of the 7th. Students will be given priority for places on the field trip. As places are very limited it is important to register your interest early and to book early flights. We advise using Canadian North and First Air to fly to Yellowknife from Edmonton, or Air Canada / West Jet to fly from Calgary to Yellowknife.
