Failure and Imposter Phenomenon Discussion
Wednesday, February 16 at 11:00AM (MDT): Drs Tom Chacko, Alberto Reyes, and Sasha Wilson
Abstract:
Experiencing failure in research is more common than success and often leads to feelings of disheartenment and inadequacy. Despite it being so common, we rarely share stories of our failures or reflect on how they may have been useful long-term. We’d like to start speaking more openly about failure and the associated imposter phenomenon, so the Grace Anne Stewart Speaker Series is holding an hour-long panelist discussion with three of our very own faculty: Drs. Tom Chacko, Alberto Reyes and Sasha Wilson. In this session, the faculty speakers will be sharing examples of failures in their careers and key lessons that they’ve learnt from them.
