My name is Patricia and I joined the Ichnology Research Group as a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. John-Paul Zonneveld. My research focuses on the depositional setting and stratigraphic architecture of the Lower Triassic Montney Formation in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. Methods include detailed core logging, XRD, SEM, thin section analysis, XRF and sequence stratigraphy. Previous research involves the study of the sedimentology and biostratigraphy of mixed carbonate-siliciclastic rocks in western Venezuela.
