Sepideh Kheirkhah

In January 2021, I have joined the Watershed Science and Modelling Laboratory (WSML) as a Ph.D. student, with civil and environmental engineering background. As my master thesis, I developed an equilibrium strategy-based waste load allocation program in a river-reservoir system in a surrogate-based simulation-optimization framework. My current research focus is on the effect of anthropogenic and climatic stressors on the water-food-energy-environment nexus in the socio-hydrological framework at large watershed scale. This involves simulation of human-water coevolution by capturing the human behavioral rules and hydrological and water quality modelling at Nelson River Basin with intensive agricultural activities and food export.
