I joined the Watershed Science and Modelling Laboratory (WSML) as a master’s student in September 2022 with the objective of increasing my understanding of surface water-groundwater interactions, and my skills in hydrogeological modelling. This came after being selected as a beneficiary of COLFUTURO’s loan-scholarship program and getting over 7 years of experience in fieldwork, data management, data analytics, petroleum geology, and geological and hydrogeological modelling.
My research for the WSML consists in applying advanced conceptual and numerical modeling to assess the impacts of climate change on SW-GW interactions on a regional scale that includes variability of geographical regions and processes.
