The Watershed Science and Modelling Laboratory is fortunate to receive this grant that provides basis to develop an exceptionally high performance computing systems in Watershed Science & Modeling Laboratory. The lab is currently equipped with super computing systems that are designed to conduct large scale modeling runs utilizing more than 500 cores through Parallel Processing systems. The super computers, models and data are designed under Windows Operating System, and are remarkably user friendly as opposed to other operating systems that require intensive coding and programming to utilize large-scale environmental models.
